9.6.2024 @ 14:00 - 15:00
Someone has to go first, but when does this person ever hit the jackpot on their first try? This concert features two pioneering works that immediately left their mark in the history of their form and never left. Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart described his Quintet for Piano and Winds, composed in 1784, as the best thing he had written in his life. Composed in 1842, the Piano Quintet by Robert Schumann became an inspiration for generations of composers, a paragon and a model example of chamber music, the likes of which have not been seen since.
