Naantali Music Festival is one of Finland’s longest-running and most highly esteemed music festivals. Its varied, high standard concerts are arranged at idyllic venues in the seaside resort of Naantali and the surrounding districts. Whether you attend one, a couple, or all of these concerts, you can be sure of fine music and celebration.
Top Irish pianist Barry Douglas and Beethoven’s most famous piano concerto will meet conductor Dalia Stasevska and the Lahti Symphony Orchestra. Jaakko Kuusisto’s Cello Concerto will be interpreted by Arto Noras, to whom the work is dedicated. The premiere of the work at the Naantali Music Festival in 2019 was the composer’s last premiere.
The Lahti Symphony Orchestra, world-renowned for its performances of Sibelius’ symphonies, will also interpret Sibelius’ 7th Symphony.

Naantali Children’s Music Festival: Magic Bus Travel Thu June 9th at 6 pm, Kristoffer Hall, Naantali. Siina & Taikaradio invite the whole family on a bus trip where anything is possible, and everyone can join in the singing and playing!
The expressive and versatile soprano Kaisa Ranta has discharged a wide range of assignments for stage and concert soloist. She won the Lappeenranta Singing Competition in 2006, thereafter immediately making her début at the Finnish National Opera in the title role of Mozart’s unfinished opera Zaide.
Dalia Stasevska is renowned as a charismatic and versatile conductor whose international career has been in full swing in recent years. She began as Principal Guest of the BBC Symphony Orchestra in summer 2019, becoming Chief Conductor of the Lahti Symphony Orchestra and Artistic Director of its annual Sibelius Festival in autumn 2021.
