Pianist Mackenzie Melemed, violinist Tami Pohjola and cellist Leonardo Chiodo will perform a programme of Beethoven compositions selected by composer Olli Kortekangas. Olli Kortekangas will host the concert, so we are lead by a colleague. The performers are highly talented young people who have all won a Finnish competition in their field in the last years.

The event's artists

Private: Tami Pohjola

 Violinist Tami Pohjola, despite her youth, has performed all over Europe and win several national and international competitions.

Private: Mackenzie Melemed

 Mackenzie Melemed is an American pianist currently living in Finland who won first prize in the 2017 Maj Lind Piano Competition.

Private: Leonardo Chiodo

 Cellist Leonardo Chiodo, despite his youth, has been successful in several international competitions and performed in many countries.

Private: Olli Kortekangas

 Composer Olli Kortekangas (b. Turku 1955) studied composition under Einojuhani Rautavaara and Eero Hämeenniemi at the Sibelius Academy in 1974–1981, and continued his formal education under Dieter Schnebel in West Berlin.
