Spanish tunes are inspired by regional love. While 16th century maestros Luys de Narváez and Alonso Mudarra introduced the world to the beauty and infinite tones of the guitar, Pablo de Sarasate’s remarkable talent as a violinist shines as bright as the Andalusian sun. Mario Castelnuovo-Tedesco was a key figure of the Golden Age of Hollywood and his musical narrative Platero y yo (Platero and I) is a warm-hearted celebration of the peaceful coexistence of humans, animals and nature. Having starred in films such as Fallen Leaves, actor Jussi Vatanen interprets the text by the poet and Nobel laureate Juan Ramón Jiménez.
