String Quartet’s history in one evening

The string quartet Meta4 takes the audience on a journey through the history and evolution of the leading form of chamber music, all the way from Luigi Boccherini to Robert Schumann and the works of composer Kaija Saariaho. The programme features an enlightening cross-section of music from the heart of court life in the 18th century to the beat of the 21st century – all in the course of one night! Our guide on this trip through time is composer Osmo Tapio Räihälä, winner of the Finlandia Prize in Non-Fiction.

Duration of the concert is appr. 2 hours including an intermission. Doors open 30 minutes before the concert.
Tickets for group A 49 €, students and concertgoers under 18 years of age 25 €. Tickets for group B 25 €, students and concertgoers under 18 years of age 13 €.
