A popular presentation of the latest research findings.
Music is not only good for the mind and wellbeing, but also demonstrably for health.
An open public seminar will present the latest findings of scientific research into the health-promoting effects of music. The themes will be the impact of music on the social maturation of children, on managing various manifestations of stress in adults, and on alleviating and recovering from age-related health disorders. Speakers include Professor at the University of Helsinki Minna Huotilainen and Professor at the University of Turku Seppo Soinila.
