Johanna Försti: Evening Club in Motown Style

Martin Gaye, Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, The Supremes… The list of artists under the legendary record label Motown transformed the world in the 1960s with their swing that captured the essence of soul. Known for her soulful voice, composer and singer Johanna Försti is bringing Motown tunes to Naantali as new arrangements, which trumpet player Jukka Eskola has orchestrated for his jazz ensemble – the whole evening is therefore dedicated to deep, entertaining soul music.
