Arto Noras and Hannu Kiiski will act as the main cello teachers, while Janne Malmivaara will be the main violin teacher. Other guest teachers at the masterclasses include the Music Festival’s renowned artists, such as violinists Petteri Iivonen, Elina Vähälä, Mihaela Martin and Christian Altenburger, and cellists Frans Helmerson, Niklas Schmidt and Samuli Peltonen.
The course fee is €420. The course fee includes a minimum of 5 × 45 min private lessons, the possibility to follow the lessons freely and free admission to any concerts of the Music Festival that are not sold out. Accompaniment services are also included in the course fee.
The final concert of the Vallis Gratiae Academy will take place in the Kristoffer Hall on Saturday 18 June at 1 p.m. The afternoon matinee at Naantali Spa and other performances will be announced as other camp schedules are confirmed.
Accommodation and meals
Accommodation at the camp will be provided in school premises, with a total cost of €70 for the whole camp duration. Single nights in school accommodation cost €12 per night. Other accommodation is also available in Naantali.
Camp meals are tasty and healthy school food, prepared in the school kitchen. The camp meal package includes breakfast and lunch. Campers are responsible for other meals they may require. The cost of the camp meals is €120 for the whole camp duration.
The school accommodation has a fridge, coffee maker and microwave for storing and heating campers’ own food items.
