ENDLESS OCEAN
11.6.2026 @ 19:00 - 21:00
The Music Festival’s traditional Sea Concert flows Boundlessly this summer as Finland’s most popular vocal ensemble RAJATON brings its new programme to Naantali Church. The programme features songs that sail across the horizon of memory, their swaying rhythms and rolling harmonies breathing a maritime beauty. Lapin kesä, Meri kuutamolla, Venelaulu, and other timeless classics will be heard in Rajaton’s a cappella interpretations—performed entirely by the vocal ensemble without instruments. The visual accompaniment will be provided by light artworks created in collaboration between 10–12-year-old students from the Naantali School of Visual Arts and Creative Technology Finland.
“Endless Ocean Concert reminds us all of the importance of the sea. It invites us, the people of the Baltic Sea region, to become citizens of the sea: together we can care for a healthy and diverse sea, along whose shores a unique archipelago culture flourishes. Be on the side of the Baltic Sea!”
