Radiating endless stage charisma, actor-singer Maria Ylipää brings a stylish programme to the Naantali evening club. Timeless classics and captivating works reflecting Maria’s characteristically wide stylistic range keep the atmosphere soaring and the audience on their toes.
Also shining on stage is an All Stars lineup of Finnish music: on piano and guitar, “the Jimi Hendrix of Finland,” Marzi Nyman; on accordion, Niko Kumpuvaara, who has repeatedly pushed the limits of the instrument; and on bass, Ville Herrala, whose résumé is among the longest in the Northern Hemisphere.

The programme includes, among others, By the Sea from the musical Sweeney Todd, Hymne à l’amour by Edith Piaf, and Astor Piazzolla’s Yo soy María.
