Show & Dinner: Stuff of Stadi – Iiro Rantala and Johanna Försti

Kaivohuone transforms into a swinging jazz cave as pianist Iiro Rantala and singer Johanna Försti host a jam in the style of Stuff and the Gadd Gang. Formed in New York in the 1970s, the fusion band Stuff and its drummer Steve Gadd’s bands were known for their incredibly tight groove, enriched with flavors from R&B, gospel, and pop sounds. These musicians, who gained worldwide cult fame, also shaped the soundscape of the 80s and 90s, performing and recording with artists like Aretha Franklin, Eric Clapton, and Paul Simon. The Stadin Stuff dinner concert will dive deep into the world of Stuff, guided by top Finnish musicians.
