The Aboa Quartet began its activities in 1986 as a member of the Turku Ensemble Chamber Music Association. The quartet soon expanded its concert activities, performing regularly at various concert venues in Turku. The quartet has also given concerts in Helsinki, Stockholm, Tallinn and Bratislava. Juha-Pekka Vikman and Maija Kontunen, violin, Ramona Wolin-Takala, viola and Eija Huhtala-Krapu, cello will perform in the concert.

The idyllic setting of Naantalin Kaivohuone combines light classical music and traditional afternoon tea with sweet and savoury treats. The hour-long concert contains familiar and atmospheric compositions performed by the Aboa Quartet.
