One can hardly imagine a more dedicated master promoting the works of neglected and rarely performed composers than Oliver Triendl. His tireless commitment – above all to romantic and contemporary music – is evident in more than 100 CD recordings. His repertoire is certainly unique, encompassing some 90 piano concertos and hundreds of chamber music compositions. He has often been the first to publicly perform or record these works.

Triendl has performed as a soloist with several well-known orchestras, including the Munich Symphony Orchestra, the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Radio Philharmonic Orchestra, Hanover, the Mozarteum Orchestra Salzburg, the Netherlands Symphony Orchestra, the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra, the Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, the St. Petersburg Camerata and the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra.

He is also an avid chamber musician who has performed with numerous distinguished colleagues.

A Northern Dimension. Bright, profound and beautiful. Jaakko Kuusisto, who passed away in February 2022, was for many years a key force behind the Naantali Music Festival as a violinist, conductor and composer. The concert is a tribute to Jaakko and his magnificently diverse compositional work, which continues the tradition of the great Nordic composers and the northern dimension of music.

Come rain or shine, jolly water drops and beautiful tears will be a source of fascination in the ancient church at Raisio, bringing a sense of playfulness and depth to a summer afternoon.

The atmosphere of Naantali Music Festival will captivate the Turku Sibelius Museum. With charmingly delicious Sibelius songs, naturally!
