Aino-Maija Metsola’s Chives

The 2022 Naantali Music Festival’s visual identity is based on Aino-Maija Metsola’s Chives, a visual art work in her An Islet series. “I paint water, mist, rain, vegetation, movement and the rhythm of nature, and I feel that my works have a strong connection to music,” the artist says. In the commemorative cup, the artwork is combined with the Kultakeramiikka cup design, which will also serve as the basis for future years’ cup designs. I wonder what the cup will be like next year? We’ll find out between 6 and 17 June 2023.
